Artist Student – Seamstress

My passion is creating Renaissance clothing and costumes and teaching young students K-12 to learn the art of sewing. I’m presently Getting my BA at UNC Pembroke.

Seamstress and Costumer

I have been sewing for 40+ years. I began with quilting with my grandmother. I began sewing clothes after that mostly clothes for my girls. Most recent in the last 10 years I’ve gotten into making period clothing such as Renaissance for the fair and Halloween costumes.

Art

I have experiance in Painting, drawing scupting. I have recently began to work with hand building ceramics. Art is a renewed passion for me and I look forword to uptaining more experiance in the near future.

Education

I have taken mulitble classes in sewing through the years, but mostly self-taught and trial and error. I am currently a student at UNC Pembroke following my renewed passion in art.
